08/08/2024, The garage door springs broke, so I called the the tried and true Garage Doors and More for help. They apologized for not being able to come out that... read more day, because they were so busy. They gave me a date that was two days away and said if they had a cancellation they would put me in that time slot. The technician, Craig, was very professional and explained that because we used the door as a main enter and exit from the house he would suggest we put a heavier duty spring on the door. He advised me that the bigger spring was a little more expensive, but that it was my decision. He never put any pressure on me to up grade the spring. Because of the terrific customer service I will not use any other company, and besides they are a family owned company. My garage door spring broke and as it always happens it was 6:30 at night. I searched the internet for a locally owned garage door company and came across Garage Door and Moore, who had all five star reviews. I called them the next day and scheduled the repairs for 2:30 pm. The guys arrived when they said they would and went to work right-a-way. My first contact with Beau and Chris was great. They were very polite and had very good customer service skills. Chris said it would take about an hour to replace the two springs, oil the hinges, adjust the chain and make sure the opener was operating properly. At no time did they try to sell me a new opener, or try to sell me services that were not needed. The job was finished on time and the door opener has never sound this good. I will not have ant other company work on my garage door. If I need any services done to the door I will call Garage Door & Moore. It is to bad I cannot give them any more than 5 stars, because they deserve a lot more. 03/07/2024, Was having problems with the key pad.
